Windows Date & Time Synchronization (NTP) Mandatory

Your PC clock must be synchronized with Internet Time. A clock skew of even 2 minutes causes SSL handshakes to fail and cloud authentication tokens (JWT) to be rejected as expired.

Windows Settings → Time & Language → Date & Time → Turn ON "Set time automatically" → Click "Sync now"

Resolve USB Driver Filter Conflicts (FlexiHub / VirtualHere) If BROM/EDL fails

Third-party USB sharing software attaches filter drivers that capture Mediatek BROM and Qualcomm 9008 COM ports, causing communication timeouts:

1. Delete driver: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\EUsbHubFilter.sys

2. Registry path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000}

3. Action: Delete the UpperFilters value and restart your computer.

Administrator Privileges & Antivirus Exclusion Hardware I/O

Low-level USB driver access (WinUSB, UsbDK, libusb-win32) requires elevated privileges and can trigger heuristic false positives in antivirus engines:

• Execution: Right-click TFastUnlocker.exe → Run as administrator

• Antivirus: Add your tool installation folder to Windows Defender → Exclusions
